I’m wondering what you would have in your “fast track” bug out bag. Fast track of course referring to your keep moving idea.I’m sure mine would be different , or maybe not. Situational things such as being alone, or with a family could also effect this. IE: Load bearing for children , wife , elderly ect. What would you add for the basic bag. I’ve been around for a while but I agree lots of “new preppers” are coming onto You Tube looking for help now.
@S1nn3r1 This is going to be a quick but incomplete answer. The theory for my mobile disaster bag is to emphasize ready resources: no cooking, no filtering water, no setting up a shelter. I chose MREs that I could eat cold w/o utensils while walking.
But times change. I’m up to 3.5 kids. That .5 is really forcing me to modify my plan. Solo evac vs family evac vs evac w/ special needs: those are all very different problems and each one needs video (or two) to answer.
Thanks for the comment!
@gotprep Now that my friend in all the video’s I’ve watched in the prepping community has not been discussed as much. Mostly due to the ( I think ) mainstream idea of bugging in. Due to just what you said. The .5 situation. Feel free to jump over to my friends list. I have a lot of good people on there. I’d like your thoughts on what their ideas have been. Be safe . Keep your powder dry.
Long LIVE the CONSTITUTION !!!
Cummon man….Your from the Army!! All you need is a gallon jug of water! Im sure your adreniline will take care of the rest in a 72 hour scenario…. ;o) I remember long ago when my buddy was driving my car because I was more drunk then he was. We got stoped and he got hauled off “along with my car”. the cops just left me there to walk back 30 miles. I slept behind dumpsters and strip clubs in bad parts of town and made friends with the bums. It taught me what a bugout bag should have…WATER
@mrdeuce76 I hear you. As an infantryman, we were trained to march forever and only need the blood of dead Commies to survive!
Water is key. To cut through the BS, you don’t need food in your 72 hour kit to survive. But water… you aren’t going very far with out that. Thanks for the comment!
@S1nn3r1 I like that idea, but I’m having trouble keeping up with messages and getting out the few videos that I do. If you have a couple videos that you would like me to check out, send me the links. But I can’t add another playlist to my plate. I already have 170 vids in my Watch Later list.
